Salary Scale: £80-£100
Contract Type: Full-timeResponsibilities:
- As an SEMH Teaching Assistant, you will provide one-on-one and small group support to students with SEMH needs.
- Implement strategies and interventions to support the social and emotional development of students.
- As an SEMH Teaching Assistant, you will collaborate with teachers, SENCOs, and external agencies to address specific needs.
- Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment.
- As an SEMH Teaching Assistant, you will monitor and assess the progress of students, providing feedback to teachers and parents.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of behavior support plans.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Proven experience in a similar Teaching Assistant role is advantageous.
- Empathy and a genuine passion for supporting students with SEMH needs.
- As an SEMH Teaching Assistant, you will have strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with teachers, students, and parents.
- As an SEMH Teaching Assistant, you will have or be willing to learn knowledge of relevant SEMH strategies and interventions.
