Axcis are seeking a dedicated Teaching Assistant with first-hand experience supporting individuals on the autism spectrum to join a school in Warrington. In this full-time, long-term position, you will play a vital role in providing tailored support to children with autism within our school community. Your responsibilities will include delivering one-on-one assistance, implementing individualised education plans, and fostering positive relationships to facilitate their academic and social development. The ideal candidate will possess a patient and empathetic demeanour, coupled with strong communication skills and a collaborative approach to teamwork. While previous experience in a similar role is essential, qualifications in education or psychology are desirable. Working hours are Monday to Friday, with flexibility as needed, and the salary ranges from £12 to £15 per hour, commensurate with experience.
