Job Description:Grade UE07: £39,347 to £46,974 per annum, pro rata.Edinburgh College of Art / CAHSSPart time: 10.5 hours per week.Fixed Term: for 12 months.The Opportunity:We seek to appoint a part-time (0.3FTE) Teaching Fellow in Art. This will be a one year, fixed-term position, with a view to extending to three years.
The post holder will have a developing reputation in the field of Fine Art.It is anticipated that the post holder will have experience in teaching art students and school aged children, both at primary and secondary level.In addition to contributing to the School of Art, the successful applicant will play an active and collegiate role within Edinburgh College of Art, the wider University and the external environment.Your skills and attributes for success:
- A developing national reputation in contemporary art
- A Masters degree in a relevant subject PVG certificate
- An enthusiastic, positive and creative approach to teaching
- Evidence of delivering teaching to undergraduate students and running workshops
- Evidence of delivering teaching to children and young people under age 18
- The ability to work as part of a team, with openness and a commitment to cultural diversity and inclusion
