The Executive Business Centre (EBC), within Greenwich Business School at the University of Greenwich is seeking to appoint a Teaching Fellow to support our Executive Education provision.The Executive Business Centre is Greenwich Business School’s centre for developing and delivering impactful industry engagement through executive education. Working with industry to develop and deliver high quality educational programmes to those in work and looking to accelerate their career. EBC delivers our MBA portfolio including MBA Global, MBA Marketing Management, MBA Finance, and our Executive MBA. EBC also host traditional executive education provision and short courses as well as our SME and growth programmes, such as Help to Grow Management. We now seek to appoint a motivated colleague who will support the implementation of our strategy to ensure academic excellence within this unique portfolio, EBC, Greenwich Business School and the wider University community.Our team are excited by industry engagement, whether through programme design and delivery, research or knowledge exchange activities. We are looking for an enthusiastic candidate to join this team of industry facing professionals. This post is for a highly effective person, capable of delivering high quality impactful education. The role will focus on delivering across a number of levels and variety of formats, as well as engaging with industry to promote innovative and transformational learning. We seek to recruit a colleague willing to work with a diverse group of students and academic staff.The suitable candidate will be able to demonstrate innovation in their approach to teaching and learning and will be confident in developing inspiring materials, to meet the needs of current and future industry demands. Applicants need to be confident in developing inspiring materials and activities to support an applied, experiential, and impactful learning journey.The position enables an ambitious candidate to play an important role in shaping the future development of the Executive Business Centre’s role in supporting local business growth via our SME provision, as well as national and international industry impact through our high quality, effective and innovative approach to curriculum design.The successful candidate will be expected to deliver a range of teaching interventions for our current portfolio, whist supporting the development of EBCs executive education offering. They will contribute to the design of new teaching materials and innovative approaches to teaching and learning, reflecting the candidates own subject specialism and tailored to the needs of a diverse student body. They will engage in professional practice across the subject area and in pastoral care and professional development duties, acting as a personal tutor, mentor and coach for individuals and groups of students.As we grow the team, we are open to a number of business and management specialisms and would welcome a discussion on where your subject expertise may support EBCs future growth.
