UNICEF’s Learning Passport program is at the forefront of this transformation, offering a comprehensive digital learning platform designed to support educators and students globally. To further aid teachers in navigating this new landscape, we are excited to introduce the Digital Literacy SKills and Blended Learning pathways for Educators.Task type:Teaching, Training and MentorshipTask description:We are looking for 4 Online Volunteers who support us with the development of a teaching/training curriculum for Blended Learning and Digital Literacy. To this end the selected Online Volunteers will work closely with the Global Content Lead and other country office stakeholders to complete the task as follows:
– Determine teaching/training objectives
– Assess teaching/training needs and finalize/adjust training objectives
– Select teaching/training method(s) to be used
– Develop an outline of content capturing information to be taught/trained and content to be developed as required to convey teaching/training information
– Develop a teaching/training plan/programme including a schedule of sessions, exercises, and timelines
– Develop an evaluation plan and tools for the training to measure its effectivenessThe selected Online Volunteers will be provided with background information and material needed to develop the curriculum. They will not be asked to participate in or conduct/implement the teaching/training and will not be requested to develop content themselves.Online Volunteers will have the opportunity to connect with [team/section] and to contribute to educational initiatives, enhance their curriculum development skills, and make a positive impact on learners’ lives.Requirements:Candidates should have a background in pedagogy, especially in the area of adult education, higher ed or K12 or expertise in instructional technology.
A degree in education or a related field is required.Work Hours: 11 – 15
