Job SummaryJob DescriptionWhat is the opportunity?Join our RBC Global Asset Management (RBC GAM) as a Team Lead, Billing Operations. You will be responsible for supporting the client operations and finance teams in a wide-ranging and evolving role. The position’s primary responsibility is ensuring timely and accurate invoice generation for institutional client accounts. Additional responsibilities include adopting best practices, establishing efficiencies within the department, helping set up a framework to support global billing operations, providing other accounting functions such as reconciliations and analysis, and team supervision. For more information, please visit:What will you do?Work with Excel and Broadridge’s Revport platform to maintain client records and prepare invoices for the Institutional client business.Be a first point of contact for clients and portfolio management that will require timely and professional responses.Monitor receivables, record all invoices and payments, and reconcile to the ledger.Obtain supporting documentation from administrators and other tasks as required for the billing process.Ensure that client documentation is complete and available as required by internal controls, auditors, and to facilitate a smooth and accurate billing cycle.Perform bank deposits and other responsibilities required by the team for segregation of duties purposes.Assist the Business Operations and Finance teams as required.What do you need to succeed?Must HavePost secondary education, ideally specializing in finance or commerce4+ years experience in a similar roleStrong attention to detail and analytical skillsKnowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, and openness and ability to learn new softwareBe well organized and have the flexibility to deal with multiple tasks and changing prioritiesBe able to work both independently and within a teamFluent in English—both oral and writtenNice to HaveKnowledge of Bonaire Revport, particularly in a multi-currency environmentAccounting experience, including an understanding of Sage productsFinancial services industry experience is also an assetWhat’s in it for you?We thrive on the challenge to be our best, progressive thinking to keep growing, and working together to deliver trusted advice to help our clients thrive and communities prosper.
