Job DescriptionMarket Leading Food Manufacturer now looking to recruit…BASED BUCKINGHAMFULL TIME, PERMANENT POSITIONUp to £29K + 10% BonusROLEYou will be a key player in the technical team and your duties will have a major emphasis on the smooth running of the factory floor including:

• Conducting internal audits and GMP audits in line with the relevant internal audit schedule
• Verifying and monitoring the production process according to the requirements of the Quality & Foods Safety Plan
• Auditing production paperwork to verify that traceability is achieved throughout production process, and accurate legible records are completed accordingly. Verification and filing of Production and QA records
• Assisting in the investigation of customer complaints, and cascade, communicate and work with the Production Department to identify root cause of issues, and support and monitor the implementation of agreed corrective and preventative actions
• Carrying out testing in lab for physical parameters to inspect quality of raw material and packaging, record results on inspection report sheets, issue pass/hold/reject labels as appropriate, report any non-conformances
• Carrying out and record calibration checks on equipment
• Assisting in maintaining accreditations and undertake projects in line with customer codes of practice & BRC requirements.

CANDIDATE

• The successful candidate will have previous experience either in Technical or Quality Assurance within Food Manufacturing
• You will ideally be familiar with GMP, internal audits and QMS systems.
• Knowledge of current Food Safety, Food Labelling and other relevant legislation would be advantageous.
• Confident in undertaking audits and communicating with various stakeholders
• Excellent IT Skills – Excel, Word and SharePoint.

Working Hours: 40 hour week, flexibility on start and finishing times Mon-Fri 8-4/ 8:30- 4:30/ 9-530 minutes unpaid lunch
