This position will focus on product quotation and design software types such as configure price quote (CPQ) and building information modeling (BIM). We expect to see candidates who can impress us with their knowledge about creating effective content to train users on new software features or workflows.You will make impact with the following responsibilities:

  • Content Creation: Develop clear, concise, and engaging content for software feature releases, including release notes, user guides, FAQs, and blog posts.
  • User Training: Design and produce training materials such as tutorials, webinars, video demonstrations, and interactive courses to help users understand and utilize new software features.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with product managers, developers, and UX/UI designers to gather information about new features and ensure accurate and comprehensive content.
  • Documentation: Maintain and update existing documentation to reflect the latest software updates and enhancements.
  • Feedback Integration: Collect and analyze user feedback to continuously improve content quality and relevance.
  • Content Strategy: Develop and implement content strategies that align with the company’s goals and user needs.

You’ll win us over by having the following qualifications:Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in communications, technical writing, computer science, or a related field.
  • 3 plus years of experience in content creation, technical writing, or user training, preferably in the software industry.
  • Strong understanding of software development and user experience principles.
  • Proficiency in content creation tools (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite, Camtasia, Microsoft Office, Canva, WordPress).
  • Expertise in Interactive Product Tour software (Hopscotch or equivalent).
  • Must be eligible to work in the US with no sponsorship now or in the future.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Familiarity with AI tools for content generation (e.g., GPT models, automated content creation platforms).
  • Ability to explain complex technical concepts in a simple and user-friendly manner.
  • Experience with content management systems (CMS), learning management systems (LMS), configure price quote (CPQ) platforms, or building information modeling (BIM) software is a plus.
  • Ability to create deliverables in a self-managed and target oriented manner based on software release schedules and other business deadlines.
  • Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and quality.
  • Creative thinker with the ability to generate innovative content ideas.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Willing to travel for business meetings and events as needed (up to 10%)
