In fact, Essity partners with the United Nations Foundation in support of Sustainable Development Goals to improve hygiene, health, and well-being worldwide.About the RoleEssity is offering an exciting job opportunity in its Global Brand, Innovation and Sustainability (GBIS) business division and specifically in the Incontinence category under the TENA brand.We are currently looking for an experienced Technical Innovation Manager for our TENA brand in North America. This position will be based out of our Philadelphia office, Bowling Green or Drumondville and this role reports into Regional Brand Director North America.We’re looking for people who embody our values, aren’t afraid to challenge, innovate, experiment, and move at a fast pace. If this is you, we’d love to talk.What You Will DoInnovation Strategy: In collaboration with brand innovation manager, and aligned with regional brand director and marketing, design, develop and execute a 5 year innovation strategy & roadmap driving superiority and differentiation aligned with the TENA brand’s goals and market trends in North America for a specific product arena.Project Management: Lead and manage innovation projects from concept to commercialization, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery securing alignment and buy-in from all cross-functional teams.Technical Expertise: Provide technical guidance and support in the development of new products and packaging and the improvement of existing ones.Support Assortment Profitability: Initiate cost saving initiatives within each innovation projects to support BU profitability targets, and give input to strategic and innovation driven CAPEXesCollaboration: Be the key interface with R&D, manufacturing, technology, product management and other departments to gain alignment, secure resources and ensure seamless execution from product concept to production to launch.Market Analysis: Conduct competitive analysis and lab testing to identify opportunities for innovation, superiority and differentiation.Customer Focus: Engage with consumers and stakeholders to understand their needs and incorporate feedback into product development.Compliance: Ensure all innovations comply with regulatory requirements and company standards and as owner of the article specification requirement, ensure they are up-to-date for innovation, renovation and cost saves.Sustainability Champion: Ensure all innovations achieve sustainability targets for respective product areasWho You AreMust have 2-5 years experience in technical development or innovation management technology within consumer goods or healthcare industry, preferably with incontinence or baby careInternational experience and exposure is preferredProven track record in product innovation development & deliveryStrong experience in running & project managing multi-functional teams effectivelyExperience with developing absorbent products would be an advantage.Demonstrated ability to work effectively in collaborative international environment with strong communication skillsStrong project management and networking skills, able to manage several projects in parallel with tight timelinesYou have ability to deal with ambiguity and like to shape new ways of workingSelf motivated, objective drive and able to influence othersNot afraid to challenge the status quo and take risksCommitment to continuous learningStrong leadership skills with the ability to influence and persuadeAbout Our DEI CultureGuided by our Beliefs & Behavior, our culture is the foundation that connects our history with our future.
