Founded in 2005, KMS is a certified small business with over a decade and a half of experience supporting the Department of Defense as well as many other departments and programs critical to our Nations security and well-being.SUMMARY / OBJECTIVE:Naval Surface Warfare Center Dahlgren Division Dam Neck Activity (NSWCDD DNA) provides support for Systems Engineering, Cybersecurity (Cyber), Safety, Test and Evaluation (T&E), and Readiness support for assigned systems. These system assignments include the hardware, software, subsystems, and elements that comprise the specific system. These activities are conducted in support of the United States (U.S.) Navy, Multi-National and Multi-Agency Naval and Department of Defense (DOD) sponsors.GENERAL DUTIES OR EXPERIENCE:
- Perform technical / engineering processes relating to software development and design for the purposes of developing and maintaining software operator / user manuals and system administrator documentation.
- Creates and publishes technical documentations and manuals.
- Collects and interprets technical data or information and coordinates layout for publication.
- Contributes to moderately complex aspects of a project.
- Work is generally independent and collaborative in nature.
Required Education:
- High School or GED Diploma
Required Experience:
- Three (3) years of full-time professional experience writing operational / maintenance / installation data documentation using standard military practices.

Some flexibility in hours is allowed, with concurrence from the supervisor.
