Technology Architecture Risk ManagerNational salary: circa £80,000London salary: circa £95,000We are looking for a Technology Architecture Risk Manager to join our growing IT and Cyber Risk team (second line). If you have experience with technology transformation programmes, simplification projects, and the application of agile methodologies, along with current, relevant certifications and you are a confident communicator, we would love to hear from you!A bit about the job:As part of our 2nd line IT and Cyber Risk team you will be responsible for identifying, assessing, and gaining assurance risks associated with IT architecture and design projects are effectively being managed.You will:Identify, assess, and document risks related to IT architecture and design projects, with a focus on technology transformations and simplification.Collaborate as a critical partner with Technology enterprise architecture, design teams, and transformation project teams to ensure that risk considerations are integrated into project lifecycles effectively.Produce and present comprehensive risk reports for management and executive teams.Contribute to the development and implementation of the Architecture Strategy, ensuring it is fit for purpose and enables Aviva to deliver business strategy and objectives.Continuously monitor the risk landscape and emerging threats in IT architecture, design, and transformation projects.Skills and experience we’re looking for:Systems Integration: Understanding how different systems interact and integrate within an IT architecture.Cloud Computing: Knowledge of cloud architecture and services, including AWS & Azure.Enterprise Architecture Frameworks: Familiarity with architecture frameworks.Project Management: Ability to manage and oversee IT projects, ensuring they align with risk management strategies.Stakeholder management: ability to challenge and influence decision making.What you’ll get for this role:Our purpose – with you today, for a better tomorrow – is a promise we make to our colleagues too.
