We are looking for someone to help Camden achieve our aim of providing a clean, safe and pleasant environment for our residents to live in, by providing a comprehensive, professional cleaning service across the accommodation schemes, identifying and reporting health and safety hazards and undertaking low level maintenance and repair tasks.You will be responsible for managing and planning the work schedules for a team of cleaners dispersed across temporary accommodation buildings, ensuring communal and external areas are kept clean and tidy and ensuring all buildings have appropriate staff cover when required.You will also need to ensure that empty rooms are thoroughly clean and safe, and ready for new people to move into. To understand and comply with COSHH and BICS requirements.All About you
We’re looking for someone who is enthusiastic about our ambition to make Camden the best place to live and work. Above all, you will be passionate about ensuring that services are delivered in a relational way, with the best outcomes for residents at its heart.The successful candidate will hold either a BICs or NVQ qualification in cleaning or be able to demonstrate that they have the equivalent knowledge and experience and would be willing to complete the NVQ qualification in cleaning.You will be able to demonstrate an understanding of general health and safety issues and those that relate to cleaning and materials as well an understanding of COSH regulations.Please refer to the Work Environment in the job profile for further information.Find out more at our Recruitment Open Day
