Job description

Job specification:

  • All day to day transaction postings to SAGE Cloud 50 Accounts – purchase invoices, customer invoices and month end journals
  • Month end balance sheet reconciliations – payroll control, sales ledger control and purchase ledger control
  • Credit control
  • Bank reconciliations – ensure accurate day to day timely entries for all bank transactions including providing daily cashflow forecast for management, bank statement reconciliations for all currencies.
  • Quarterly VAT returns – preparation and submission to HMRC
  • Liaising with external agencies
  • Training

Person specification:

  • Must have Sage 50 Accounts Cloud based experience
  • Must be proficient in Excel and Word
  • Qualified accountant (min 3 years PQE) – can hit the ground running
  • Can do attitude – all-rounder Financial accountant with solid practical nominal ledger experience and month end process experience
  • Ability to work to deadline
  • Ability to work autonomously and get on with the job in hand

  • 9am to 5:30 or 8:30am – 5pm or 8am – 4pm
  • 100% office based
