Tig Welder£14.00 to £17.50 per hour (Negotiable DOE) plus benefitsPurpose of the Tig Welder:Our clients is looking for an experienced and skilled TIG welder in Mild Steel, Stainless Steel, and Aluminium, who is hard working, talented and conscientious to join their fabrication and welding team. This opportunity involves working as part of a team effort to satisfy production requirements. The type of products the client manufacture can be wide and varied, making the job interesting but also challenging to those who seek good job satisfaction. The position is temporary to permanent.Job details for the Tig Welder:
- Working with the principles of practical application of TIG/MIG welding.
- Working with all types of TIG/MIG, Steel, Stainless Steel, and Aluminium welding.
- Working in full protective clothing – heat-proof gloves, helmet, and overalls.
- Being Health and safety conscious when working with welding processes.
- Working with engineering drawings to ensure products meet the criteria.
Qualifications and experience required for the Tig Welder:
- The ability to interpret engineering drawings to ensure products meet the criteria.
- Understands the principles of welding for strength.
- 3 to 5 years experience of Tig Welding of Aluminium
- Great team member
Any potential candidates will be asked to attend a welding test.Hours of Work for the Tig Welder:Monday to Thursday 8am to 5pm Friday 8am to 2.00pm 40 hour working weekLocation for the Tig Welder:Village location just outside of St Ives, transport required.For more details on the Tig Welding position, please contact Lisa Parsons
