Job Summary assignments.Job DescriptionWHAT IS THE OPPORTUNITY?TLM team is undertaking multiple complex enterprise-wide initiatives as part of RBC’s ongoing plan to improve technology management and architectural governance across the organization. In this role you will be responsible for development and implementation of TLM Suite. The role will coordinate, develop, lead, communicate and execute activities to ensure objectives are accomplished according on time.WHAT WILL YOU DO?

  • Working with business and client teams to configure and deploy reconciliation solutions in SmartStream TLM product.
  • Developing/Documenting recon data preprocessing solutions utilizing DataStage and Apache airflow.
  • Environment application support.
  • Should be able to handle any production change releases and code deployments.
  • Should be working closely with Production Support team on any issues for immediate resolutions.
  • Proven problem solving, communication, interpersonal and analytical skills.
  • Ability to work equally with business and technology partners

WHAT DO YOU NEED TO SUCCEED?Must have:

  • Smart Stream TLM Premium Product, Database- Oracle, PL/SQL, Operating System- Unix/Linux scripting
  • Understanding of Accounting and Custody Securities position, Trade and Cash Reconciliation workflows.
  • Experience with SmartStream TLM recon configuration toolkits e.g., TLM Control, SmartStudio, Recon Admin and SmartSchema, Smartrecs, TLM views, Match rules.
  • Experience with TLM installation from the scratch, handling any TLM infra/Environment issues.
  • Strong understanding in Investment Banking and Finance Reconciliations domain (Cash, Stock, Trade, Position, General Ledger, Sub Ledger etc) with an expertise on TLM Reconciliations Premium 3.x (Smart Studio, Schema, Web Connect, Control, TLM View, MI)
  • Has worked in TLM automation programs involving migration of recs from manual processes/legacy systems/new recs build/enhancements.

Nice-to-have:

  • Experience with ETL tools, Datastage, Apache Airflow.
  • Experience with Finance reconciliation.
  • SWIFT MT Messages, Types and usage in reconciliations.
  • Knowledge of testing and quality assurance methodologies.
  • Knowledge on Agile Methodology.
  • Knowledge on DEVOPS.
