If you answered yes, our Chalk River location is looking for an Total Rewards Coordinator to provide support to the Total Rewards Team with its major focus being assisting and coordinating the Benefits, Pension, Disability Management programs and leave administration. What will you be doing!

  • Support the administration of disability leaves processing for ITDI and long-term disability including: generating and submitting LTD applications; tracking and reporting on cases; working with internal and external partners to ensure effective operations of programs
  • Coordinating annual leave administration processes related to leave payouts, excess vacation, annual entitlements.
  • Provide support to the Attendance Support Program through the generation of attendance calendars and employee leave reporting as required
  • Work with external parties to ensure effective ongoing operations of Pension plans. Includes: providing and verifying information as required; resolving enrolment or other identified issued
  • Coordinate Company Wide Benefits Review Committee and CNL Pension Committee meetings for the Total Rewards Team and assist with committee work as required
  • Assists in the administration of the bi-annual Benefits Open Enrolment and annual Benefits Renewal process, including communicating with employees
  • Support on required annual reporting and filings related to programs.
  • General support to CNL staff on the programs and/or act as first point of contact for inquiries.
  • Support the annual salary/merit increase cycles: auditing of files, upload or manual entry of data and creating and distributing employee letters.
  • Run various reports as required to support compensation analytics and annual salary increase process
  • Works with internal and external stakeholders to track and monitor progress on projects.
  • Supporting HRMS system enhancements through required testing and auditing.
  • Performs other duties as required

What we are looking for:

  • University Degree or equivalent combination of education and work experience
  • 3-5 years progressive experience in HR administrative/associate/analyst roles; or an equivalent combination of education and related work experience. A CEBS, CHRP or CCP designation is an asset.
  • Experience in a fast pace environment, managing conflicting priorities.
  • Must be able to maintain confidentiality
  • High level of organization, accuracy and attention to detail is essential.
  • Operates as a team player with minimal supervision, self-directed and self-motivated
  • Advanced computer applications skills including Excel, Word, PowerPoint & HRMS databases
  • Excellent interpersonal, collaboration and communication (written and oral) skills
  • High level of adaptability/flexibility; ability to cope with a changing environment
  • Initiative to resolve problems and expedite resources, work plans or other appropriate action.
  • Comprehends and relays information concisely and accurately, and works with minimum supervision in an environment requiring initiative and the ability to work effectively with all levels of personnel.
  • Must be able to see the ‘big picture’, by having a solid understanding of how all the pieces fit together as changes apply not only to individual employees but to other systems as well

Security clearance eligibility required: Reliability Status with Site Access Security Clearance (SASC), which has a minimum requirement of 3 years of verifiable history in Canada, Australia, New Zealand, United States and/or the United Kingdom.

Location:
