Job SummaryJob DescriptionWhat is the opportunity?In this role Provide basic office administrative and clerical support to senior manager(s) or an office within RBC Investor Services (IS). Generally act as the first point of contact of the office. Analyzing /repairing /validating and manually processing Domestic/Global Foreign Exchange trades instruction received from client on various electronic sources and systems.What will you do?

  • Monitoring of electronic trades in the queues, responding to emails from Internal department in generic team inbox.
  • Input/ Authorize and or repair/validate FX trades in the local global market.
  • Answer and screen telephone calls and direct messages and calls to appropriate person
  • Review and sort incoming mail, deliver to appropriate person
  • Researching and investigating problems and issues affecting STP
  • Provide support and relief to the colleagues when required
  • Monitor the smooth flow, timelines and accuracy of trades
  • Perform other administrative duties including filing, photocopying, faxing and ordering and maintaining office supplies, office relocations, phone, computer service
  • Gather information and conduct research as required

What do you need to succeed?Must-have

  • 1-3 years of relevant work experience
  • Basic Knowledge on Financial Market, Trade processing and settlements, FX
  • High School Diploma, Financial Industry skills, Banking knowledge will be an asset.
  • Verbal and written communication skills, multi-tasking, customer service skills and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently
  • Ability to keep information organized and confidential
  • Expert of computer applications, such as Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint
