Job SummaryJob DescriptionWhat is the opportunity?As Trade Operations and Settlements Administrator you will provide operational & administrative support to the Trading Room staff and portfolio managers. For more information, please visit:What will you do?Act as liaison between trading and operations staffAssist with the input of trade information and the reconciliation of previous day trading activitiesEnsure timely and accurate settlement of all tradesIdentify trade settlement issues while offering solutions to minimize risk and costsMaintain accurate files for compliance, audit, and regulatory purposesResearch security pricesWhat do you need to succeed?Must Have:Strong analytical skills, with the ability to investigate intricate trade discrepancies and recommend a course of action.Familiarity with trading terminology and back office processesKnowledge of Excel with the ability to use/maintain macrosWorking knowledge of the following systems within 3 months of start: Bloomberg, trust, smac, mvp, fx connect, PCView, Reflections, Charles River, Citibank Custodial systemMust be a self-starter that can thrive in a fast paced environmentExcellent communication skillsTeam player with a position attitudeFlexibility in work hours as overtime maybe requiredNice to Have:CSC/CFAUniversity degree &/or certification in Business Administration.What’s in it for you?We thrive on the challenge to be our best, progressive thinking to keep growing, and working together to deliver trusted advice to help our clients thrive and communities prosper.
