Driver Hire East Kilbride are looking for a Trainee Business Development/Recruitment Consultant to join our new owner team at Driver Hire East Kilbride.As a Recruitment Professional you will be responsible for:

• Sourcing candidates through CV Job boards and existing data
• Writing and posting job ads
• Interviewing and profiling candidates through telephone screening
• Registering candidates on our online portal and face to face
• Using our ongoing training and support to build a strong understanding of recruitment and the transport industry
• General administration duties including data entry of candidate/client information
• Being able to work fast and fill vacancies as part of a team
• General customer service duties (answering phones, emails, making calls)
• Developing relationships with clients to help them fulfil their requirements and explore additional requirements
• Business Development scheduling and attending face to face appointments. Calling prospect customers to arrange appointments.
• Participate in a 24 hour, 7 days a week on call rota

You will need to have the following:

• A strong communicator with excellent written skills
• Desire to progress and grow
• Hunger to meet targets and earn commission
• Able to work fast and prioritise certain jobs
• Be proactive
• Have great attention to detail
• Great customer service skills
• Excellent verbal communication skills
• Strong admin skills
• Recruitment or resourcing experience would be an advantage however is not essential as full training will be given
• Previous telesales / business development experience or a knack for persuasion. If this is within the logistics industry – even better
• A genuine interest in people
• Have own transport to attend client meetings

Pay & Benefits:

• Base £25,000 per annum + monthly performance bonus and on call allowance (OTE £27,000+)
• 28 days holiday per year
