It is an exciting opportunity to join the neurosurgery team at GOSH as a TACP. You will be working within a small team of Neurosurgery ACP’s, covering both paediatric and neurosurgery care within the inpatient and outpatient setting. The team works closely with Neurosurgeons, Nursing, Allied health professionals and Paediatricians to provide specialist and high dependency care to our patients.You will be supported to complete the ACP pathway, inclusive of non-medical prescribing. The successful applicant will be support by the GOSH Learning Academy (GLA)The job involves; clinical patient review and management (within your SOP), running independent clinics, management of patient pathways and care, teaching, NMP and undertaking advanced neurosurgery skills. Following completion of the trainee post you will join the team to cover the medical neurosurgical rota; high dependency unit; run independent neurosurgery clinics and provide specialist support to staff and families within GOSH.Within the role you will provide support and follow up for the Foetal surgery programme jointly with UCLH.
