As a Training Support Administrator, you’ll have a role that’s out of the ordinary. You will support the training function by booking and prepping future courses and ensure all completed courses are logged onto the relevant systems.Day-to-day, you will log training courses onto the system and ensure the instructors and trainees have the relevant paperwork for the upcoming course.

  • High quality execution of all administrative duties to ensure the effective delivery of the Training Support Function (ACTS) in accordance with all applicable processes and procedures as available in the SharePoint system.
  • The processing and maintenance of Trainee Records within Joint Personnel Administration (JPA) and Training Administration & Financial Information System (TAFMIS) complying with all applicable processes and procedures, to support the effective and compliant delivery of Submarine Training contracts.
  • Support the delivery of the assessments process including assessment control, data entry into TAFMIS, support to report production and analytical support. Award JPA competence criteria.
  • Document Control, Configuration Control of Training Courseware (ACTS)
  • Administer (in conjunction with the Planning team) the annual training schedules, plans, amendments and course bookings in accordance with the Training Plan and in compliance with contractual timelines.

This role is full time working 37 hours per week and is based on site at Clyde.Essential experience of the Training Support Administrator:

  • Experience of working with Database applications
  • Knowledge and/or understanding of Security management is highly desirable
  • Experience of document status control (Configuration Control)
  • Experience of operating in a multi-functional team is highly desirable
  • Experience of working in a service delivery environment is highly desirable
  • Experience of working in a busy and dynamic office/administrative environment is highly desirable.
