As a Training Support Officer, you’ll have a role that’s out of the ordinary. Babcock manages all aspects of the land training cycle, delivering over 758,000 training days annually for the British Army and producing personnel that are knowledgeable, skilled and competent to operate in the most challenging circumstances.Day to day, you’ll provide a focal point for course and trainee related training planning and administration for the army.

  • Using the Management Information Systems (MIS) to produce business information reports as directed.
  • Providing administrative support for fast track students, Pre Deployment, Mission Specific, Urgent Operational Requirements, indemnity polices and other associated activities
  • Supporting, coordinating, and liaising with other Babcock departments, stakeholders and Holdfast.
  • Carrying out general administrator duties

This role is a Fixed Term Contract (FTC) until April 2025 and will have a hybrid split of typically 2/3 days a week in the office. You will be based at Chatham in London.Essential experience of the Training Support Officer:

  • Demonstrable IT skills
  • Stakeholder management
  • High organisation
  • Previous experience in an administrative role

Qualifications for the Training Support Officer:

  • Driving licence (you may be required to make site visits)
