The Transaction Manager is to create an exciting experience for car buyers so that the customer does not buy a car from anywhere.The Transaction Manager is responsible for enhancing customer relationships and progressing the sale of the car, F&I, service plans and accessories. Ability to gain customer trust and build loyalty with the customer.This is a very ‘hands on’ role working closely with the Sales Manager to ensure the team achieve their targets on new & used car sales, finance and renewals including compliance audits, add-on’s, lead management and customer satisfaction targets.The successful applicant will be expected to help stack deals (including valuing part exchange cars) for the sales consultants and second face customers when required.Responsibilities will include
- Part exchange valuations
- Tailoring Finance Packages
- Ensure forcasted sales are achieved for the branch
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
- Assist the sales team with the sale of the car, accessories, paint protection, GAP and insurance products
- Generate GAP and Insurance Policies in line with company standards
- Process finance documents for payout produce finance quotes and proposals
- Process and record deposit payments along with final balances
- Part exchange appraisal and price delivery
- Ability to close sales
- Assess the needs and requirements for every customer at point of order
- Report to sales manager on deal by deal basis all income generated by product type
- Encourage showroom (or home where required) visits when enquiries are by telephone or online
- Ensure all customer details are recorded and entered onto the enquiry management system
- Respond to customer requests for information in line with company standards
- Responsible for contacting all ‘last chance’ finance leads
Key Skills/Attributes Required:
- High level of attention to detail along with a a passion for customer satisfaction and service, must be a team player with a can-do attitude
- FCA accreditation required
- Excellent knowledge of finance and related systems.
- Knowledge of insurance products
- A good understanding of car valuations and advanced negotiation skills.
