Job description
This role is for a Transactional Finance Manager who will lead a team within the Accounting & Finance department. The successful candidate will primarily be responsible for overseeing the financial transactions within a leading company in the Leisure, Travel & Tourism industry.
- Oversee the processing of financial transactions.
- Supervise and mentor a team of transactional finance professionals.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards.
- Develop and implement financial policies and procedures.
- Coordinate with other departments for financial planning and budgeting.
- Review financial reports and statements for accuracy.
- Assist in the preparation of year-end accounts and take the lead on external audit on transactional finance items.
- Contribute to the development of financial strategies and improve line item variance reporting.
- Deliver the weekly and critical payment runs.
- Liaising with vendors, ensuring accurate details and reconciliations take place. Ensuring prompt resolution of any issues.

A successful Transactional Finance Manager should have:
- 3+ years experience leading a Transactional Finance team.
- A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Experience across multiple entities with multi-currency accounts.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
- Proficiency in using financial software such as SAGE 300 and MS Office Suite, with intermediate level knowledge of MS Excel
- Excellent numerical skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Experience within the travel and tourism industry is desirable.
