We are offering an opportunity for a Treasury Analyst to join our team. As a Treasury Analyst, you will be instrumental in overseeing operational treasury activities. This includes, but is not limited to, managing receivables, payables, bank reconciliations, and reporting. This role is available in North York, Ontario, and offers a long-term contract employment opportunity.Responsibilities:
- Oversee the regular reconciliation of operating bank accounts
- Management of cash flow to ensure optimal bank balances
- Accurate recording of incoming cash and resolution of related queries
- Aid in the processing of accounts payable invoices, from receipt to posting and payment
- Support operations with bank and GL activities such as EFT file uploads and GL posting
- Responsible for the creation and upload of Accounts Payable ACH/EFT bank files
- Management of dividend payments and reconciliations
- Assist in managing Treasury mailboxes and answer related queries
- Provide support for quarterly and annual reporting
- Provide support for internal and external audit procedures such as bank confirmations and transaction documentation
- Improve GL account efficiencies using tools such as Blackline
- Enhance cash management tools for efficiency and usability
- Perform additional duties and assist with specific projects as assigned.
- Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems
- Strong capability in Data Processing
- Experience with a variety of Accounting Functions
- Ability to manage and monitor Cash Activity efficiently
- Understanding of Debit Credit procedures
- Familiarity with MS Great Plains Accounting software
- Experience in Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) processes
