Outline of the job
As the Treasurer, you will play a crucial role in managing our organisation’s financial resources and ensuring the efficient use of funds. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience working with the Barclays platform, demonstrating proficiency in utilising its features for cash management, investments, and overall financial strategy.
The Treasurer will be based UK-based and expected to be in our London office at least 2 days per week.
What you’ll be doing
Financial Planning and Analysis:
– Develop and implement financial plans, forecasts, and strategies to optimise the organisation’s financial performance.
– Conduct thorough analysis of financial data to provide insights and recommendations for decision-making.
Cash Management:
– Oversee daily cash flow management, ensuring liquidity needs are met and excess funds are appropriately invested.
– Utilise the Barclays platform to execute and monitor cash transactions efficiently.
Banking Relationship Management:
– Maintain strong relationships with Barclays representatives to stay informed about platform updates, enhancements, and industry trends.
– Collaborate with banking partners to negotiate terms, fees, and services to optimize financial operations.
Investment Management:
– Monitor and manage short-term and long-term investments using the Barclays platform, ensuring compliance with investment policies.
– Evaluate investment opportunities and provide recommendations to optimise returns.
Risk Management:
– Identify and assess financial risks, implementing strategies to mitigate potential exposures.
– Stay informed about regulatory changes and industry best practices related to financial risk management.
– Represent Zinc at high-level meetings with clients and project partners, All while embodying the values of Zinc Network
Requirements
What we need from you:
– Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field; MBA or CFA designation is a plus.
– Proven experience as a Treasurer or similar financial role.
– In-depth knowledge of the Barclays platform and demonstrated proficiency in using its features.
– Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills.
– Strong attention to detail.
– Experience working in multiple currencies.
– Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
– Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
