Must be flexible with days and times.Job Duties:– Provide tailored tutoring sessions to SEN pupils in Maths, English, Science, and Humanities topics– Develop individualised learning plans based on students’ needs and abilities– Monitor student progress and adjust teaching methods accordingly– Collaborate with parents and teachers to ensure student success– Maintain accurate records of student attendance and performanceRequired Qualifications:– A relevant teaching qualification– Experience working with SEN pupils– Strong knowledge of Maths, English, Science, and Humanities subjects– Excellent communication and interpersonal skills– Ability to adapt teaching methods to suit individual learning stylesEducation:– Bachelor’s degree in Education or related fieldExperience:– Minimum of 2 years’ experience in tutoring or teaching rolesKnowledge and Skills:– In-depth understanding of SEN teaching strategies– Proficiency in creating engaging and interactive learning activities– Ability to motivate and inspire students to reach their full potentialPreferred Qualifications:– Master’s degree in Education or Special Education– Additional certifications in SEN teachingWorking Conditions:– Part-time hours with flexibility in scheduling– Work may involve evenings or weekends depending on student availability– Tutoring sessions may take place in-person or online– Ability to travel to student homes or designated tutoring locationsAll applicants will require the appropriate qualifications and training for this role. All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
