Job Description

These job requirements allow the employee to work at a Lockheed Martin-designated office or job site for part of their schedule and has a predefined regular, recurring telework schedule for the remaining part of their work schedule.
Lockheed Martin Corp. seeks a UK Program Management Liaison supporting the Program Management Office with managing the United Kingdom Trident Fleet Ballistic Missile SWS Navigation Subsystem Technical Engineering Services contract.
Assists the Program Manager with general tasks including: Prepare and coordinates plans and schedules; determines, monitors, and reviews costs, operational budgets, schedules, and manpower requirements. Formulates and recommends corrective action measures such as schedule revisions, manpower adjustments, fund allocations, and work requirements. Coordinates customer interface via Customer monthly status meetings. Coordinates all LM participation in US/UK Navigation Technical Exchanges meetings. Coordinate accomplishment & reporting on studies, including CDRL submission.
Develop strategies for accomplishment and reporting on key studies, including authorized data requirements for specific procurement projects. Identify, analyze and present program risks and opportunities in connection with the manufacturing and installation of electrical components for military use.
Prepare and coordinate engineering plans and schedules based upon business requirements and operational schedules. Formulate and recommend corrective action measures, such as schedule revisions, manpower adjustments, fund allocations, and work requirements.
Coordinate customer interface and meetings for successful project completion. Interface daily with US DoD and UK MoD customers and external program stakeholders both within government and industry partners.
Basic Qualifications
- Technical and operational experience supporting TRIDENT SWS Navigation
- Demonstrated ability to understand Navigation Subsystem development and design.
- Familiarity with the Trident Navigation program and customer.
- 7 years of experience reviewing program schedules and liaising with key stakeholders to resolve subsystems issues; developing and reviewing costs, operational budgets, schedules, and manpower requirements; Polaris Sales Agreement protocols for sharing of sensitive technical information between the US and UK, as well as corporate export control practices.
Desired skills
- EVM certification and familiarity, CAM Certified (Willingness to learn).
- Experience with all SSBN submarine operations (Refit sites, Training facilities, Shipyard repair periods, electronic equipment maintenance and repair).

Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.
Work Schedule Information
Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
