This involves Project Management of key deliverables, engagement with stakeholders, ensuring all due diligence and governance are in place for UILT sign-off and ensuring the full completion of business transfer to eventual business owner. The role will anchor Finance responsibilities to support the UI Business Transfer TeamDevelop & anchor End-to-End UI Internal Business Transfer Framework that spells out the Best-in-Class process of integrating and transferring any new business opportunities to ensure all areas of business case, due diligence, governance, accounting and tax models are coveredControls: Ensure financial records are in compliance with accepted policies, procedures and external/SOX controls requirements. Ensure robustness of internal controls including clear segregation of duties, disciplined implementation of schedule of authority, robust payment approval/verification process, credit assessment, budgetary systemThis person will work very closely with UI Finance stakeholders like Controllers, Tax, Cluster Finance Business Partners, BG Finance Business Partners and as well as other UI cross-functional teams like Supply Chain, Business Development and MarketingDue to Project nature and UI’s global mandate, this role will be required to support stakeholders across different time-zones depending on the project on hand, with flexibility on work hoursKEY REQUIREMENTS:7-10 years of experience in various Finance or Business-related rolesIn depth knowledge of Operational / Financial Processes: Master data management, Credit Management Policies; Debtors management; Brand & Marketing investments, Claims and reconciliations; Balance sheet reconciliationUnilever is an organisation committed to equity, inclusion and diversity to drive our business results and create a better future, every day, for our diverse employees, global consumers, partners, and communities.
