This post provides an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic person to provide administrative and clerical support to the nursing staff within the Cancer Care & Haematology Unit, Stoke Mandeville Hospital. The unit is open Monday to Friday.Main duties of the jobTo act as the focal point of administrative communications for the treatment area, taking all telephone enquiries, personal callers/visitors and directing patients where necessary.To input the patient activity from the treatment area into the CRS system. The basic patient data set will include the admission, transfer and discharge details, as directed by the Nurse in charge.To prepare documentation from admission to discharge for use by the nursing team.Ensuring documentation is sent for scanning in a timely mannerIs expected to maintain patient documentation in an organised and methodical manner according to Trust guideline,To print patient labels and wrist bands as required.To prepare blood request forms as required.Ensure that there is an adequate supply of appropriate patient information leaflets for ward area.About usListen to why colleagues think we are a great place to work! – https://bit.ly/3DNEQfDWhat does Buckinghamshire Healthcare NHS Trust offer you?
