In partnership with ECC, EPUT, and PAHT, we developed an innovative integrated rotational programme that offers work experience in AdultSocial Care (ECC), community services (EPUT), and Acute (PAHT).The rotational programme is designed for ambitious professionals interested in widening their career development in various aspects of OT and will last just over two years. In this role, you will play a vital role in assessing and treating patients with a wide range of conditions. As part of the integrated partnership, you will work closely with other healthcare professionals and be integral in providing comprehensive care and supporting patients.The programme is separated into four 9-month consecutive placements (Urgent Care Response, stroke/early supported discharge, Adult Social Care and Acute Services), finishing with a permanent position as a member of the AHP EPUT team.Main duties of the job? Conduct comprehensive occupational therapy assessments to identify patients’ functional needs and goals.? Develop and implement individualised treatment plans that focus on improving patients’ ability to perform activities of daily living (ADLs), such as dressing, bathing, and eating and support them to remain safe and independent in their own homes and support recovery.? Provide education and training to patients and their families on how to manage their condition and prevent future complications.? Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure that patients receive coordinated and seamless care.? Contribute to the service as a whole with MDTs, service development, supporting the trust and attending service meetings.? Work autonomously during the shift, feeding back to Clinical Leads within UCRT.? - Recognised Physiotherapy or Occupational therapy degree/qualification
- Health Care Profession Council Registration as a Physiotherapist or Occupational therapist
