Job Summary As a Settlement Analyst, you will settle or process all transactions assigned on a daily basis in a timely and accurate manner.Job DescriptionWhat will you do?Process the settlements of securities and handle all trade exceptions on a timely basisPossess good knowledge of the products and systems required to accomplish daily responsibilitiesPortray a high level of knowledge of Securities Settlements and its various functionsBe able to reconcile account differences and issues and articulate to the proper channels what the issues areHave excellent communication skills in order to work with coworkers and internal clients alikeProvide a high level of customer serviceHave the ability to deal with high volumes of trades to ensure settlementReduce risk and cost to the firm by escalating all potential issues to managementAssist management with any ad hoc requirements / tasksBe a team player who collaborates well with associates and managementStrictly adhere to all firm policies and procedureHave proficient skills in Windows based products such as Outlook, Word, ExcelHave the ability to multi task in a pressured environmentRemain up to date on a number of desks so as to be able to back fill throughout the yearInterface with various business lines and branches along with counter-party operations teams to rectify any settlement discrepanciesBe available to work a 7.5 hour day (37.5 hours per week) +1 hour break, occasional overtime required.
