Sales Specialist (Utilities)

Leicester

£30,000 per annum basic

OTE £60,000 – £65,000 year one!

Due to rapid growth, our client is seeking to appoint a highly motivated and results-driven Energy Specialist to join their team in Leicester. If you are passionate about the energy sector and have a knack for identifying and nurturing potential leads, this role offers an exciting opportunity to grow your career!

You will play a crucial role in driving energy sales initiatives, fostering relationships with key clients and contributing to the overall growth of our business. As a Senior Energy Sales Specialist, you will leverage your industry expertise to provide strategic energy solutions and exceed sales targets.

Responsibilities:

• Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients while actively seeking new business opportunities.
• Taking cold prospects through the sales process, to a point of closing the business.
• Understand clients\’ energy needs and propose tailored solutions to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.
• Conduct thorough energy assessments and present findings to clients.

• Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy to achieve and exceed set targets.

• Demonstrate a deep understanding of products and services to effectively communicate value propositions to clients.

• Lead negotiations with clients to secure favourable contracts and agreements.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Proven track record of success in energy sales, with a focus on B2B clients.
• Strong understanding of the energy industry, including knowledge of renewable energy solutions.
• Excellent communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills.
• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Previous experience in a senior sales role is highly desirable.
