- Oversees a construction crew working on job site, making sure work is compliant with installation and safety standards. Manages field operations with a focus on safety, compliance, efficiency, cost management and innovation. Manages construction activities to ensure company procedures are followed and compliance is maintained relative to all applicable local, state, and federal requirements.
- Oversees full construction crew (4-6) rendering hands-on assistance.
- Travel will be required.
- Responsible for completing all required paperwork daily including but not limited to daily timesheets.
- Ensure all crew members are trained in accordance with company safety policies.
- Coordinate with project Superintendent in planning and implementing project tasks.
- Monitor progress of crew to ensure satisfactory job completion, keeping construction progress in line with overall project schedule and production goals.
- Oversees all work is compliant with installation standards.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Five (5) years of field experience as a foreman
- Valid driver’s license with clean Driving record
- Excellent communications and interpersonal skill
- Strong focus on Safety and Quality 1st
- Strong interpersonal
- Team-oriented skills.
- CDL Desired
Special Knowledge/Skills Required:
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues in a timely fashion.
- Load and unload equipment and materials.
- Provide innovative solutions to improve production efficiency.
- Log and record readings for equipment and procedures.
- Proficient knowledge of utility installation techniques and standards, attention to detail, organization skills, management skills, and the ability to read and draft blueprints (as-builts).
- Oversee and coordinate construction operations and activities.
Job Type: Full-timePay: $35.00 – $40.00 per hour (paid overtime)Expected hours: 40 – 60 per weekBenefits:
