Overview of position

This role will report to the Shared Value Manager & help in the delivery of CTG’s shared value strategy & wider social impact initiatives across CTG’s countries of operation.

Role objectives

Day to day tasks & activities will include & be related to (but not limited to):

  • Support the project management of social impact initiatives through administration & coordination of related activities.

  • Work cross functionally with CTG’s global teams to drive engagement with & progress towards social impact goals.

  • Facilitate the integration of sustainability commitments across different corporate functions, processes & procedures.

  • Management of social impact performance, data collection, tracking & reporting across a number of different projects.

  • Conduct market research & analysis on topics including human rights, gender equality & diversity, anti corruption & supply chain sustainability.

  • Market research & analysis of social impact trends, challenges & opportunities within the aid & development sectors.

  • Collaborate with communications & marketing teams to create communications around CTG’s social impact activities. 

  • Supporting with event / workshop organisation & management.

Project reporting

This role reports to the Shared Value Manager.

Key competencies

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in international relations, international development, ESG or a related field.

  • Background in qualitative & / or quantitative research & analysis.

  • Fluency in English is essential.

  • Proficiency in additional languages would be considered an advantage.

  • Over 2 years’ experience in delivering social impact initiatives.

  • Commitment to / interest in international development, corporate sustainability & ESG.

  • Knowledge & understanding of the humanitarian & international development sectors, knowledge of the UN system would be considered an advantage.

  • Good understanding of human rights & social impact challenges in low income / fragile & conflict affected countries.

  • Proven strength in written & oral communication & research.

  • Good attention to detail & ability to consistently deliver work to a high quality standard.

  • Organisation & the ability to manage multiple workstreams at any one time.

  • Flexibility & willingness to learn.

  • Able to work independently without minimal oversight as well as part of multinational teams.

  • Excellent grasp of Microsoft Office including Word, Power Point & Excel.

Team management

This role has no team management responsibility.
