Your RoleThe National Account Manager is responsible for the development and performance of all sales and promotion activities related to target National Accounts in the Vehicle Service Industry.The key responsibilities are to develop and execute a Breakthrough and Daily Management Plan and actively working with and support the Area Sales Managers.Location: Remote Field PositionLocal terms and conditions applyJob responsibilities include but may not be limited to:

  • Identifies our business position within each assigned National Account -headquarter location, branch locations, orders received, net invoiced sales, share of wallet, Strengths-Weaknesses-Opportunities-Threats, and Competition.
  • Identifies and records National Account personnel by position, departments, and areas having direct or indirect influence on the acquisition of tools.
  • Defines, develops, and executes a Daily Management Plan for each National Account based on a requested target from the National Accounts Manager and information from the National Account.
  • Establishes a rolling 3-month and annual targets for each National Account.
  • Manages, negotiates, and communicates our adherence to National Account specific requirements and standards.

  • Actively seeks the support of the Area Sales Managers to assure that all target National Account branches are properly covered.
  • Identifies future promotional needs, pricing strategies versus the competition. Uses both customer and CP supply chain knowledge to collaborate with the Chicago Pneumatic Marketing Manager for Vehicle Service on all requirements.

To succeed, you will needQualifications

  • Expert knowledge on channel management.
  • Working knowledge of SF.com and MSOffice suite of products.
  • Is capable of checking progress at various milestones using SORA analysis and Excel Reports,
  • Can perform gap analysis and delegating appropriate countermeasures if necessary.

Experience

  • eCommerce experience highly preferred
  • 4+ years in B2B sales & channel management

Education

  • High School Diploma and/or equivalent
  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred in Business or similar field

Travel

  • Up to 40% travel, including overnight travel
  • Occasional international travel throughout North American including Canada and Mexico
