From Finance and Data Science, to our Wellbeing and People teams – this is the engine of our energy system, where our various Centres of Excellence power up each of our brilliant businesses, ensuring they have all the support, technologies, and capabilities they need to get our customers to Net Zero by 2050.An opportunity to play your part – Join our dynamic team as a Vendor & Purchasing Administrator, where you’ll play a crucial role in collaborating with the Accenture offshore Vendor team! Your mission will be to ensure seamless processes and swiftly address any challenges that arise, all while meeting our key performance indicators (KPIs). You’ll support the delivery of exceptional services from our offshore team and step in to assist the Vendor Master Operations Specialist whenever needed. This is an exciting opportunity to make a real impact in a fast-paced environment while fostering strong vendor relationships.   • Invite and onboard existing SAP Vendors onto the Supplier Life Cycle and Performance (SLP) system.
  • Operate and sign off on Aris Controls within your area of responsibility.
  • Complete Independent Verifications for changes to bank or contact details.
  • Manage the Vendor request group email effectively.
  • Update and maintain the Intranet Procurement landing page for vendor onboarding and management.
  • Handle escalations from offshore teams and the business, resolving queries with support from the Vendor Master Operations Specialist.
  • Conduct HMRC verification for CIS Vendors.
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders across all business areas to ensure they receive the expected level of service and engagement in vendor and purchasing operations.
  • Provide training and guidance to internal stakeholders on relevant systems and processes.

About you –

  • Experience in vendor master data and purchasing operations is advantageous.
  • Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal) to foster effective working relationships across the business and with third parties.
  • Self-motivated with a proactive approach.
  • Ability to thrive under tight deadlines and focus on results.
  • Continuous improvement mindset, with the capability to analyse existing processes, identify efficiencies, and implement re-engineering as needed.
  • Proficient in various systems, including but not limited to Ariba Network (SLP), SAP, PowerPoint, Excel, and MS Teams.
  • Willingness to travel across Centrica sites as required.
