ABOUT THE CAMPAIGN & CREATIVE SERVICES TEAM

The Campaign & Creative Services team is a leading Democratic political consulting firm with a record of winning tough races. We have an in-house creative studio that specializes in brand strategy, copywriting, design and video production. We serve as creative partners to our clients, helping them solve their biggest challenges from brainstorming to creative production and execution. Together, we’re a team of strategists, copywriters, branding experts, producers, directors, designers and editors. We script, produce, edit and place digital, TV and radio ads and write, design and place direct mail and out-of-home ads in multiple states and markets from billboards, subway ads, bus station ads and so much more.

ABOUT THIS ROLE

BerlinRosen is seeking a political professional to develop and execute media campaigns for our political and public affairs clients.

Role duration: This is a temporary, full-time temporary position that will run from March 2024 through December 15, 2024.

Role location: Ideally, candidates are based in our Washington D.C. or New York, N.Y. office on a hybrid basis, though remote candidates in the United States will still be considered. The Campaign & Creative Services team is in-office at least 2 days per week.

ACCOUNTABILITIES & QUALIFICATIONS

As a Video Assistant on the Campaign & Creative Services team, you will…

  • Provide administrative and scheduling support to the Head of Campaign & Creative, TV & Digital
  • Coordinate the overall function of the team including internal meetings and processes
  • Assist with the business development side of the business by tracking RFP deadlines, drafting proposals and updating marketing materials
  • Assist with ad production functions, including:
  • Coordinating travel and tracking costs for shoots
  • Invoicing clients and tracking payments of media buys, production and shoots
  • Ensuring crews and creative vendors are booked, confirmed and paid
  • Tracking all TV, digital and video creative assets through the workflow process
  • Possibly advancing shoots and participating in creative work sessions, as needed
  • Other tasks as necessary
  • Participate in a continuous improvement of our policies, practices and systems to produce better work more efficiently

  • Comfortable participating in collaborative creative sessions and contributing ideas
  • Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple projects
  • Adaptability to a fast-paced environment, especially during peak periods
  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including after hours and on weekends, as needed for project demands
  • Occasional travel could be required
  • Interest in electoral campaigns and public affairs and/or television and digital creative and production required

WORKING AT BERLINROSEN

Compensation philosophy: BerlinRosen offers competitive industry rate salary bands with the goal of retaining and growing talented individuals. We regularly review and adjust our compensation structure as needed to ensure equity across teams and levels.

Salary range (commensurate with experience and skills; prorated): $62,000-$72,000

This role is eligible for an end-of-cycle bonus based on firm, team and individual performance.
