TD Private Wealth Management takes a sophisticated and holistic goals discovery approach to wealth planning and protection to provide highly personalized advice, solutions and service to clients.
Wealth Insurance Services offers clients a complete and comprehensive insurance-based solution to support overall financial goals. Our committed professionals assist the clients in building, preserving and transitioning their wealth in a way that integrates with highly personalized and objective tax and protection strategies and solutions. Job Requirements
- University degree
- Five (5) or more years of experience in the Canadian life insurance industry, including experience in a sales capacity
- Life insurance licensed
- Completion of the following is considered an asset: Certified Financial Planner (CFP), Certified Life Underwriter (CLU), Chartered Financial Consultant (CHFC) or Certified Health Insurance Specialist (CHIS)
- Strong communication skills with ability to work in a team as well as and independently and build relationships

Job Details
Do you recognize the value of your expertise in the wealth management insurance solutions and service? We do too. We are looking for a dynamic professional who can work as Wealth Insurance Advisor to generate insurance sales revenue in collaboration with TD Wealth relationship managers and offer clients with peace of mind. You will offer insurance solutions to maintain a high quality of client service and support.
In this role, on a typical day, you are expected to:
- Identify new insurance opportunities while handling the client relationship throughout the insurance relationship cycle, from prospecting and application to delivery and ongoing service
- Support the underwriting and inforce service requirements to ensure a successful client and business partner experience and future collaboration
- Analyze and build relationships with clients who can benefit from sophisticated insurance strategies and solutions as part of their financial plan; provide clients with options, advice and clear explanations on complex transactions and product features
- Ensure documents prepared reflect client’s intentions and are in consistency with industry regulations
- Plan and execute business development activities, promote the full suite of applicable insurance solutions and their benefits, as well as review and communicate results
- Identify, suggest and actively participate in operational improvement opportunities
- Assume responsibility to minimize operational and regulatory risk by adhering to existing policies and industry Codes of Conduct; maintain a culture of risk management and control; Participate fully as a member of the team, support a positive work environment
