Job DescriptionWindows 11 Deployment EngineerType: 6 month contractLocation: Broadgate, LondonWorking Hours: 15:00 hrs – 11:30 hrsRate: £140OverviewThe Installation Technician will be responsible for the deployment of desktop devices. The role includes setup, validation, and reporting activities to ensure a smooth transition for end users.Key Responsibilities
- Deploy desktop devices to users’ desks in accordance with company guidelines
- Where applicable, assist in the decommissioning and removal of legacy equipment back to the central location for collection by the designated disposal provider
- Conduct nightly reporting, capturing:
- Total number of devices deployed
- Number of successful deployments
- Number of failed deployments, including reasons for failure
- Validate end-user data through desk-side visits as part of the agreed end-user survey process
Skills & Qualifications
- Experience in IT hardware deployment and installation preferred
- Strong attention to detail and adherence to deployment procedures
- Good communication skills for end-user interaction and survey validation
- Ability to work efficiently within the assigned shift hours
- Experience in decommissioning and handling legacy equipment is an advantage
