What is the opportunity?
Leading a team of Java and Vue.js developers and overseeing the development and maintenance of Java-based applications. The role involves technical expertise, leadership skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
What will you do?
Lead and mentor a team of Java & Vue.js developers, providing technical guidance and support.
Architect, design, and develop high-quality Java & Vue.js applications, ensuring best practices and standards are followed.
Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members to improve code quality.
Develop and maintain software documentation, including technical specifications, unit testing plans, and deployment procedures.
Foster a collaborative and positive team environment, encouraging knowledge sharing and skill development.
Work closely with other teams, such as QA and DevOps, to ensure seamless integration and deployment processes.
Evaluate and recommend new tools, frameworks, and methodologies to improve development efficiency and product quality.
Champion best practices in software development, including code reviews, automated testing, and continuous integration.
What do you need to succeed?
Must Have
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field with 8+ years of experience in programming small to large-scale applications, frontend and backend engineering, test-driven development, microservices and architecture design principles.
Hands-on experience with Java frameworks (e.g., Spring, Hibernate) and build tools (e.g., Maven, Gradle).
Solid understanding of software development methodologies and Agile practices.
Demonstrated strong team leadership and ability in written and oral communication skills, along with strong presentation skills. Ability to determine the information and communication needs of the stakeholders and project.
Expert in multiple programming languages such as: JAVA, JavaScript (Node.js / Vue.js / React / Angular), Python, MSSQL,etc.
Deep knowledge in DevOps and CI/CD pipeline best practices
Nice to Have
Experience with microservices in cloud such as Azure, Openshift, PCF
Experience with GraphQL.
Familiar with Workflow Automation such as Airflow, ActiveBatch.
Experience with various DevOps Pipeline tools such as Jenkins, Kubernetes, Vault, GitHub, JIRA, Confluence, Nexus IQ, SonarQube, UCD, Artifactory, etc.
