The Role:Our Private Equity Client looking for an exceptional Senior Workday Financial Consultant who is highly skilled and ready to tackle complex challenges. This role requires a seasoned professional with a strong understanding of accounting principles and extensive experience in Workday Financial Management.Responsibilities:Analyze and clean up complex historical financial data, ensuring accuracy and integrity across financial statements and general ledger accounts from legacy systems. Utilize Workday Financials to optimize data alignment and apply appropriate worktags, while addressing discrepancies and migrating data seamlessly.Redesign financial setups for consolidation and intercompany processes, preparing the system for automated year-end consolidated financial statements. Provide expert guidance on intercompany and consolidation accounting within Workday, defining efficiencies with updated posting rules and custom validations.Diagnose and resolve complex foreign exchange (FX) configuration issues, addressing root causes of revaluation failures and implementing advanced adjustments. Ensure the precision and reliability of FX revaluations and reporting.Design and implement system integrations using Workday’s EIB, Core Connectors, and other tools, optimizing data flow efficiency and system interoperability. Assist in automating processes like bank reconciliations and cash flow statements.Lead workshops and Q&A sessions for the corporate finance team, focusing on system configuration, accounting setup, expense reports, and supplier invoices, ensuring effective knowledge transfer and system maintenance.Qualifications:

• 7-10 years of hands-on experience with Workday Financials, including a deep understanding of financial modules and processes.

• Proven ability to analyze complex financial statements and apply accounting principles to optimize financial operations.

• Strong knowledge of Workday worktags, intercompany accounting, and consolidation processes, with a focus on system optimization and troubleshooting.

• Expertise in troubleshooting Workday FX configurations, handling revaluation processes, and managing data conversion/migration projects while ensuring data integrity.

• Exceptional problem-solving, analytical thinking, and the ability to lead projects under tight deadlines, coupled with superior communication skills to engage diverse stakeholders effectively.
