To fulfil our purpose to help people achieve a better later life.About the Role:The Workday Technical Analyst will be responsible for maintenance, support and configuration of the Just HRIS system, Workday.Under direction from the HRIS Manager, the Workday Technical Analyst will work with the HR function and business stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver system changes and annual process driven events, in line with the prioritised change roadmap, small change backlog and overarching HR strategy. Acting as technical SME for defined Workday functional areas, including but not limited to Core HCM, Absence, Talent and Performance, Recruitment, Compensation, Integrations, Security, Dashboards and Reporting.In addition, the role will provide a technical support escalation point to the HR Function and business stakeholders regarding Workday technical issues or queries. Providing timely resolutions to problems and upskilling colleagues where required to enable future self-sufficiency.

  • Continually develop well-rounded knowledge of Just’s Workday implementation, enabling efficient resolution to technical queries and timely solutions to new business requirements.
  • Maintain competent understanding of the Workday core HCM modules. In particular, Absence, Talent & Performance, Recruitment, Position Management and Org Hierarchy.
  • Work with HR stakeholders to configure and rollout annual process driven events, In particular Employee Talent and Performance reviews.
  • Act as an escalation point for Workday Support Analysts and HR Operations colleagues. Triage and resolve complex technical queries and contribute to the teams collective knowledge base.
  • Maintain and develop the structure and integrity of people data. Handling sensitive data in line with company policies. Following best practice IT controls and systems governance standards.
  • Supporting ad hoc HR and Business projects, working collaboratively with colleagues as required.
  • Lead the development of standardized dashboards and reports to support people leaders.
  • Lead the development of custom dashboards and reporting toolkits to support HRLT, SMT and Exec present people data and risks, underpinned by the people strategy.
  • Lead the development and ongoing maintenance of Workday systems integrations.
  • Actively maintain Workday security configurations for role and user-based security groups, ensuring appropriate data access in place for system users aligned to Just data policies.
  • Work with third party and internal development consultants providing support and expertise.
  • Provide support and expertise where change is required to business process configuration including security policies and role assignments.
  • Assist in the management of Workday tenants. Ensure adequate testing for production changes.
  • Keep up to date on new functionalities and proactively identify enhancements to current ways of working. Assist in the review and testing of the biannual Workday functional release cycle.
  • Proactively suggest and lead systems improvements, using business requirements to inform technical design, to process configuration, security setup and testing.
  • Support the HRIS Manager in the delivery of roadmap projects and the small change backlog. Providing subject matter expertise on Workday.
  • Respond to Workday technical queries from the HR team and business stakeholders. Maintain the small change backlog, raise and peer approve new change requests where required.
  • Problem solve and troubleshoot issues relating to Workday security configurations impacting data access and business process performance.
  • Perform security impact analysis for all configuration changes.
  • Assist the HRIS Manger in response to audit requests and data security inquiries.
  • Proactively identify potential data issues (data quality or privacy);
  • Reconfiguring absence calculations in Workday when there is an absence policy change;
  • Develop and maintain reporting for all Workday modules to support MI demand.
  • Build and maintain dashboards to support and share people data insight and trends.
  • Proactively self-develop technical knowledge, utilising Workday’s online resources and identifying learning and training opportunities. Participate in Workday community events and user group meetings to learn and share knowledge.

Experience:

  • At least 3 years’ experience as a technical lead in Workday HCM/Reporting;
  • Having worked previously in a data analytics role.

Desirable:

  • Workday Pro Certification
  • Data and Analytics Certification / Qualification
