Does this sound like a team you’d love to be a part of?Brief DescriptionThe role of Workforce Health, Safety & Environment Advisor is to provide workforce health, safety and environmental advice to the Head of Maintenance Delivery and Head of Operations Delivery and teams. Monitor compliance with legislative and corporate requirements. Promote a positive cultural and behavioural change in all aspects of welfare, health, safety and environment management.This role is the opportunity to support the wider team in key safety assurance, looking at trends and supporting with implementation of campaigns. This will be more of a business partner role where they support and help the management teams as well as the safety team to support, advise and check management systems.We are looking for a person with great communication skills ability to speak to a wide range of people from frontline to senior leaders. This will be a role where you manage your own time to deliver your outputs, a personality to always strive to help and find risk based solutions to help the business. We are looking for someone with the right behaviours who will collaborate with people, learn new things and implement changes. This role will be able to apply safety skills and knowledge and apply it to railway operations.About the role (External)Essential· Knowledge of Network Rail Health and Safety Management System· Knowledge of Network Rail Environment Management System· Knowledge of maintenance processes and techniques· Knowledge of investigations process and techniques· NEBOSH Diploma or recognised equivalent qualification.· Good interpersonal, influencing, communication and organisation skills.Desirable· Knowledge of operational railway environment· Institute of Environmental Management Award (IEMA)· Membership of a relevant professional bodyHow to apply (External)Salary and benefits:
- Salary of £46,701 – £52,538 (Band 3.b) depending on skills, qualifications and experience
