Year 2 Primary Teacher – West Bromwich
Location: West Bromwich, Sandwell
Hours: Full-time, 8:20 – 4:30pm
Salary: Negotiable depending on Experience, M1 – M5 bandsJob description
We are working with an Ofsted rated ‘Outstanding’ Primary School in West Bromwich who are looking for a Year 2 Teacher to join their fantastic team of education staff. Requirements:

  • Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or have recent experience of teaching in a Primary setting.
  • Available 8.30PM-4.30PM Mon-Fri
  • Must have strong subject knowledge.
  • Support students and manage behaviour effectively.
  • Experience working with mildly SEN students.

The ideal candidate for this role will have knowledge and/or experience working alongside the KS1 National Curriculum. This role will also require the teaching of Systematic Synthetic phonics, so prior knowledge, training and experience would be highly desired for the position.Duties:

  • To liaise and communicate with colleagues to ensure that lessons are appropriately planned and delivered.
  • Plan and deliver lessons to meet the needs of all pupils through differentiation.
  • Plan for and communicate effectively with teaching assistants.
  • Feedback effectively and in a timely fashion to class teachers.
  • To maintain the highest standards of behaviour within a class and around the school.
  • Participate in staff and team meetings and on-going professional development opportunities.
  • Participate in the performance management system for their own appraisal.
