Tradewind eagerly seeks an enthusiastic and committed Year 3 Teacher to seize an enticing opportunity at a reputable primary school in Manchester. By working closely with parents, our aim is to create an environment where children flourish, becoming successful and engaged learners.The competitive pay for this role ranges from £150 to £210 per day, depending on experience. Your commitment is needed for the remainder of the academic year. This position is open to Early Career Teachers (ECTs).Year 3 TeacherThe successful candidate will oversee the progress and achievement of a high-performing Year 3 class. Responsibilities include:
- Designing engaging lessons in line with KS2 National Curriculum standards and the school’s creative curriculum
- Understanding age-related expectations within KS2, tailoring teaching to maximize individual pupil outcomes
- Maintaining up-to-date records and analyzing data to address learning gaps and sustain high attainment levels
- Building positive relationships with pupils based on trust and respect
- Collaborating effectively with teaching assistants and wider staff to share expertise and resources
Essential Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
- Strong references demonstrating prior KS2 experience, preferably in Year 3
- A CV covering the last 10 years of employment history with any gaps explained
- Eligibility to work in the UK
- All candidates must provide suitable references and undergo an enhanced DBS check.
