What you’ll bring to the team:Location: Leatherhead Road, Chessington, KT9 2NEHere at Chessington World of Adventures we are recruiting for an Zoo Keeper to join our Mammals team!In this role, you will play an active part in the day-to-day operations of our animal collection, ensuring the highest standards of animal care while delivering exceptional experiences for our guests. You will be part of a team committed to creating a stimulating and enriching environment—not just for our visitors, but for the animals as well.In addition to working with our incredible animals, you will have the opportunity to support various areas of the zoo, enhancing your skills and personal growth. Safety is a top priority, and you will ensure the well-being of yourself, our visitors, and animals at all times. You will also work closely with your head of section to develop a personalised training program tailored to your ongoing professional development. Qualifications & Experience:
- Hold an animal-related qualification
- At least 2 years of experience working in a zoo environment or a similar setting
- Strong communication skills with the ability to take initiative
- Deep passion for animal care and a strong drive to advance your career as an animal keeper
- A collaborative team player with a positive, “can-do” attitude
