As a Computational Chemist with experience, including PhD or MSc, of delivering CADD in life sciences, you will contribute to this by supporting the development of new solutions, including a SaaS offering, as well as supporting customer and partner activity.

Your role will involve being a key domain expert for the design and development of Fujitsu IP based software and services. It will include working with partners to integrate our solutions with 3rd party platforms as part of our go-to-market strategy. There will also be a requirement to support project-based activity as necessary, that could include customer-facing engagement and project interaction.

We are looking to hire a Computational Chemist at PhD or MSc level, with industrial experience in delivering CADD/Comp Chem in life sciences. To be part of a multi-disciplinary team that is creating, developing and taking to market a differentiated drug discovery offering using hybrid advanced technologies and Fujitsu IP.

We aim to revolutionise the costly and risky process of drug discovery by delivering real customer innovation that generates novel tangible molecular outcomes for our customers, that include pharmaceuticals, biotechs, translational and research institutions including academia.

  • Understanding of drug discovery pipeline, risks and challenges
  • Industrial experience in discovery CADD. CRO, biotech, Pharma or Translational DD Unit. Experience in Cresset, plus other CADD suites
  • Well-rounded appreciation of integrated technologies (e.g. deployed physics and AI workstreams to support eachother) across DD pipeline
  • Experience with APIs and integration, repositories and versioning software (e.g. Git), KNIME , and coding python, using Jupyter notebooks, RDKit
