Job SummaryJob DescriptionWhat is your opportunity?You will provide Finance Advisory Support to CFO, Law, and Compliance Groups and leads NIE/FTE processes including Five Year Outlook, annual planning, ongoing NIE forecasts, T-5 estimates and monthly monitoring of NIE/FTE results.You will also play a key role in the management of Total CFO, Law & Compliance NIE through the delivery of meaningful and actionable financial information and insight which are critical to senior management decisions; as well as enables transparency of cost allocations to businesses by supporting development of allocation methodologies, performing impact analysis of allocation rate changes.What you will do?Proactively provides expert analysis and advice to VPs and their teams through reporting and insights for total NIE and FTE providing key information and ongoing advice to enable management decision making and establishment of action plans to maximize financial performance.Work with business partners to prepare quarterly forecasts, annual plan/5YO and monthly estimates for NIE/FTE Prepares the base data framework for monthly management reports for business partners and senior management in functions.Work with business partners to advise and develop cost allocation methodologies.Supports CFO Group Finance Advisor in providing concisely written analyses identifying key trends and highlighting issues for review by senior executives.Ensures the integrity, accuracy, completeness of financial information including the allocation of costs to business platforms.Completes the preparation and submission of monthly journal entries and associated SOD requirements.Seek opportunities to improve processes.Other activities as assigned, including ad-hoc analysis and reporting.What you need to succeed?3+ years experience in the industryExperience in financial reporting & analysis and cost managementHighly proficient with Excel and PowerPointExperience with unique financial systems such as EPM (Cognos TM1)Solid business acumen and problem-solving skillsAbility to work well under pressure and in a team settingExcellent communication skills, both oral & written, with good interpersonal skills in order to establish relationships across all levels of the enterpriseCurious and proactive mindset with a focus on continuous improvementComfortable dealing with incomplete information, uncertainty, and changeWhat’s in it for you?We thrive on the challenge to be our best, thinking progressively to keep growing, and working together to deliver trusted advice to help our clients thrive and communities prosper.
