Introduction
UNDP Philippines, under the EU–Philippines Green Economy Partnership – Green LGUs Project, invites qualified contractors and commercial kitchen integrators to participate in the procurement for the Retrofitting and Equipping of the Central Kitchen at Barangay Bagong Silangan Evacuation Center, Quezon City, Philippines. The project will transform an existing portion of the facility into a complete and operational central kitchen through an integrated package of civil and architectural works, electrical and plumbing modifications, drainage, ventilation/exhaust and LPG systems, together with the supply, delivery, installation, testing and commissioning of commercial kitchen equipment and fixtures. The requirement will be implemented through a single fixed-price contract, with a planned implementation period of 150 calendar days from the effective date of the Notice to Proceed.
A Pre-Bid Conference will be held on 17 September 2026 at 10:00 A.M. (Manila time) at the UNDP Country Office, 15th Floor, North Tower, RBC Sheridan, Highway Hills, Mandaluyong City. This will be followed immediately by a guided site visit to the project site at the Bagong Silangan Evacuation Center, Gen. Geronimo corner Gen. A. Bonifacio, Barangay Bagong Silangan, District 2, Quezon City. Attendance is not mandatory but is strongly recommended, particularly to allow prospective bidders to familiarize themselves with the existing site conditions, access arrangements, logistics, utility interfaces, and installation constraints before preparing their quotations. Due to site-access clearance and space limitations, each bidder may nominate up to two (2) representatives.
Interested bidders intending to participate in the Pre-Bid Conference and site visit are requested to confirm attendance by emailing <a target="_blank" href="https://procurement-notices.UNDP.org/mailto:procurement.ph@UNDP.org” rel=”noopener noreferrer noopener noreferrer noopener noreferrer noopener noreferrer noopener noreferrer”>procurement.ph@UNDP.org before 17 September 2026, indicating the company name and address, names of participating representatives, email addresses, and mobile telephone numbers. Failure to attend will not relieve a bidder of its responsibility to understand and comply with the solicitation requirements. Bidders shall base their offers on the RFQ, Terms of Reference, Bill of Quantities, technical specifications, drawings, and any formal clarification or amendment issued by UNDP. Minutes of the Pre-Bid Conference will be disseminated through the procurement system and to the registered email addresses of participants.
Interested suppliers must submit their offer directly in the system as instructed in the solicitation document, following the instructions in the available user guide.
